Let’s Talk
I haven’t reached out to followers of this page in forever. Recently I have felt like the Lord wanted me to re-engage. Just didn’t know what it looked like. Now I think I do.
I originally wrote “A Bad Father” as an act of obedience to the Lord, not really knowing why He had me write it. Was it for me, as a way to off-load the false identity I had been carrying for years? Was it primarily for my boys, helping them to understand my immense love for them in spite of my shortcomings? Or was it primarily written as encouragement for Christ followers with estranged children?
Many of you have read “A Bad Father” and many of you have not. Suffice to say the main theme of the book is all about redemption. My experiences, as outlined, demonstrate unequivocally that our God is alive and well and is still in the redemption business. My experience also shows that a parent’s prayer is often the catalyst that spark’s a child’s return to relationship with his/her parents, and most importantly, with God Himself. No one can convince me that there is anything more powerful on this planet than the effectual prayer of a parent for their children.
So, let’s start with this. I would love the privilege of praying with you for your prodigal children if you are in this situation. Just email me on the “Contact Us” page.
Also, if you haven’t read the book and would like to, you can order it on Amazon or contact me and I will be glad to send you a signed copy.
And if you have a praise report about a child coming home, feel free to share it on this page.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Blessings.
